Those little mouths of these animals are sooooo cute. Look at them.
Bambi's ears are placed in a funny way on her head compared to the others. That's why my daughter named her Bambi. (Bambi is most left)
Moppie, on the right, is the oldest. She is 6,7 years old. Bobo, the grey one, is maybe my favorite, she is always so interested in the world. Zusje (second left) is very sweet too and has a funny crest on her head.
Wish you could hear them, with their lovely sounds.
And my daughter (with special needs and autism)... well my daughter is the best 'guinea pig mom ' of the world!

They are so sweet. Diane
I had guinea pigs when I was a child. I love the sound they make. Such sweet animals. Thanks for posting.
Wat een super lieve foto van jullie huisgenoten.
Jammer dat er geen geluid bij is!!!
Groetjes,

Their little mouths *are* so cute!! It looks like Bambi, Bobo, and Zusje are singing/harmonizing/holding a long note while Moppie is too shy to sing for the camera :-)
I just found you through Audrey at Quilty Folk. I have to tell you that I love your little guinea pigs!! We had some a few years ago and they were so sweet. Our dog was in love with one of them and would snuggle up together. Your quilts are gorgeous too!
Geweldig Lucy!!!
We houden hier ook van onze vrienden..we hebben er wel eens over gemaild..en over onze zoon Job.
Groetjes Miriam
So Cute! My daughter had Guinea Pigs. I miss their little voices.
I'm so glad your daughter enjoys the guinea pigs. You'll have to make sure you take a lot of pictures of her with them.
I absolutely love your photos, especially the one with your antique sewing machine. My mom gave me one years ago and it does not do anything fancy. Just simple and reverse and I adore the way it looks. I'm encouraged you use a simple machine for all of your quilts.
Merry Christmas to you

So very sweet! I could squeal! Have a Merry Christmas.
How sweet they all look, and how individual. No wonder you all love them so much! I love hearing what a wonderful mother your daughter is for them!
These are the posts I read that always say.... - JOY, HAPPINESS and LOVE....
Thank you for sharing Lucy....

Dear Lucy,
Thank you for your wonderful blog and daily pictures. I wish my words could adequately express how much it means to me to 'check in with you' every day in order to have a bit of peace, beauty, normalcy and most of with the pictures of your dear daughter's little ones...joy. All four of them look so precious and sweet and I always love how you so perfectly capture their expressions and personalities.
I am a teacher of primary students and teach in a school with many classes of special needs students and at our school every general education teacher, (like me), fully main streams students each year,(while many of my students have been on the autism spectrum, I mainly teach the Deaf and Hard of Hearing 2nd graders in my school). So I always love seeing your daughter at her activities and school events~please tell her that I think she is an awesome athlete~and of course an amazing 'mommy'.
Wishing you and your lovely family a peaceful and joyous Christmas,
Barbara in California
Barbara and Kelly thank you so much for taking time for your wonderful comment. It makes me happy.
Wat lief...
Heerlijk voor je dochter dat zij hierin zo goed is.
Fijne avond,
Liefs,
Mirjam
I think Guinea pigs are one of the best animals to have as a pet. They are loving, cute and basically pretty clean animals. They are good with kids and adults and are also easy to care for. I miss having my guinea pig. Your little family of guinea pigs look very happy and healthy!
