Lace crochet with mohair/silk

The best to do after a nice walk,

and enjoying all nature gifts,

is coming home and feel the fiber of mohair/silk through my fingers.

I'm crocheting a shawl. It looks like lace. It's fragile. I love it.

The massive tree with the multiple trunks is impressive. I love trees in all their variety. The lace shawl is lovely.

Hi Lucy. I enjoyed walking with you. I'm not a new reader, but my Google account has changed over time. In the early blog days I followed you and we occasionally exchanged hellos thru mutual comments. My former blogs were: Simply Quilted, followed by Cootie Bug, followed by A Day At A Time, which I deleted months ago due to its being hacked. O my, all those changes. Now, having waited months to think it over, I'm trying again one more time with my current new-ish blog and had to get a new profile since old one was hacked. It's nice I can connect with you after all this. In friendship, connie

Lucy, what a joy to stumble on your blog this morning. I love your 365 days projects -- I have been to the Netherlands a few times (my mother is from there), and your photos of the landscape really speak to my heart. I'm also a beginning quilter, and a knitter/crocheter. I look forward to following your posts!
Thanks you.
Linda

Really enjoyed the photos of your walk - we live by a nature trail and walk it almost every day. Its wonderful to absorb all the beauty, smells, and changing of the seasons. Your lace shawl is really gorgeous. I always love visiting your blog!

Zulk mooie foto's! Vooral die boom.... indrukwekkend!
En wat wordt je shawl toch prachtig. Ik heb ooit geprobeerd met mohairwol te breien; dat is niets voor mij. Misschien is haken idd beter te doen; het wordt in elk geval erg mooi!
Liefs, Ria.
