A nice walk, a red squirrel and knitting

A lovely walk in a world covered with a thin layer of snow like powder sugar on a cake.
At home knitting on my sweater. I almost finished the body.

Lovely photos, especially the woodpecker and the squirrel!
Are you knitting the same sweater as the Italian blogger at Fuoriborgo?

Hi Lucy,
I want to thank you for your wonderful and inspiring blog. I just found your blog in October 2015. Right around the same time my adult daughter started having health problems. The long story short, she was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Our life was so topsy turvy for a few months. I found such inspiration and peacefulness in your blog. I would make sure to work on hand sewing, quilting and embroidery during these months when ever there was a moment to spare. It was a great decompressor for me. My daughter is recovering from surgery and the outlook is very good. She did lose one of her kidneys but the cancer didn't spread so she will not have to have any chemo. Thank you again! Your blog gave me moments of escape and helped me regroup and have little moments of rest. I was able to read through the older blogs before you closed them. Love your photos, especially of all the quilts. Blessings to you, Lydia

Erg mooie trui!
Groetjes
Annemieke
