As I wrote on your other blog,I think this quilt is my favorite... it has so many things I really love to see in quilts. And the quilting itself is just beautiful. Congratulations on a lovely finish!
I love this quilt. Not only the quilting is beautiful but the colors and its simplicity make it an absolute heirloom. Quilts like this one are the ones that made me want to quilt when I started. The only thing you want to do when seeing it, is to wrap yourself with it in front a the fireplace with hot tea and some cookies.

I love looking at hand quilting and your fabric choices make your quilt look like an instant antique. I am curious if you still use the hera marker to make your quilting lines.
Your 9-Patch is stunning. I cannot see the details as well as I would like. The plain blocks between the 9 patches, are they all the same fabric and it looks as if it is a light print. Were the 9 patches made from scraps or did you use a collection? You did a beautiful job, Lucy.
