Tile quilt update

Phyllis mentioned me this post from Cyndi about an antique tile quilt
It inspired me so much now I want to work on my version again.

I don't work often on this quilt because I have my doubts if it is becoming a nice quilt. It is also very busy.

At least it is a 'one of a kind' quilt.

...and I enjoy to work on each block. I like appliqué and each block is a lot of appliqué ;-)
It is all free hand, this way I don't know how each block is finished once I start it, fun!
Well If I'm going to finish this project I want to make a queen size quilt so more blocks to go.

Fijn weekend,
Evelyne

I don't think I have seen a lovelier tile quilt ever. I do think it appropriate that a Dutch quilter will make a beautiful tile quilt, however. :)

Heel fijn weekend, groetjes, Ria.

Oh Lucy, I am so glad you are starting up again. I love your version of the tile quilt. If you Google stonewall quilts you will see one I made of really bright reproduction prints using the pot holder method. I like you version so much you have inspired me to add to my quilt and add some lighter fabrics next time. Thanks for sharing!

Groetjes Liliane
